All LIGMAN products are outdoor and indoor applications with dust and insect protection properties. Unlike LIGMAN product, there will be another lighting fixtures cannot protect for dust and insect even though some indoor lighting fixtures are possible to be affected by water and dust some locations.

Product Information

Materials

A corrosion resistant , low copper content aluminium alloy ADC12 is used for all luminaire bodies as the same grade that use in automobile industry. The high-pressure die-casting bodies provide mechanical strength and excellent heat dissipation , ideal characteristics for both low and high ambient temperature applications. All external screws use is 316 stainless steel and also use silicone grease with our fittings where there is a contact between stainless steel and aluminium such as tapping holes to prevent corrosion that can cause by chemical reaction between two different kinds of metal material.

Painting finish

LIGMAN subjects all exposed aluminium components to a tightly controlled , double-step pre-treatment by degreasing and chromating for 15 minutes then baked for 15 minutes before applying a UV stabilized polyester powdercoat finish. The baking of the powder takes place in a curing oven at a temperature of appoximately 200 degree C for 20 minutes. This process provides excellent corrosion resistance , powdercoat adhesion and colour stability.

Diffusers and accessories

LIGMAN luminaires used safety glass , acrylic (PMMA) , polycarbonate (PC) , high density polyethylene (HDPE) , polypropylene (PP) depending on product , part and application.

Gasketing

LIGMAN luminaires used weatherproof and non-aging silicone rubber gasket only. It provides excellent sealing qualities in corrosive and high temperature. The service temperature of LIGMAN’s gasket is between –40 to +150 degree C

Voltage and lamps

LIGMAN luminaires are standard supplied with the magnetic control gear 220V/50HZ or 230V/50HZ for discharge lamps and high frequency electronic ballast 220-240V / 0-50-60HZ for compact fluorescent lamp. Luminaires supply exclude lamps , which are ordered seperately.

Ambient Temperatures

LIGMAN luminaires are designed for operation at -20 degree C. up to +40 degree C.

Standard

LIGMAN luminaires are designed and produced according to International (IEC 60598 2-1) and European (EN 60598 2-1) standard. Electrical components such as lamp holder, terminal block, internal wire and control gear are attentively selected from world’s leading manufacturers such as Vossloh Schwabe, Tridonic Atco, BEF, BJB and AAG Stucchi. They have obtained European safety and quality marks such as VDE, IMQ, KEMA and ENEC etc. LIGMAN lighting columns, surface mounting flange plate, are designed to conform BS standards. LIGMAN lighting laboratory is performed to conform CIE 43, CIE 70, CIE 84 and CIE 21 standards.
