Atlantic post top has decorative lantern with small shade and gives symmetrical light distribution. Major application areas for Atlantic small shade post top luminiare is for car parks, footpaths, pedestrian precincts, parks, garden and building perimeters.

Luminaire housing is made of die-cast aluminium and the pole is made up of galvanized steel. It has chemical chromatised protection to provide high corrosion resistance essential for outdoor luminaires. The luminiare has stainless steel screws. It has durable silicone rubber gasket which helps in providing ingress protection.The opal glass diffuser protects the lamp. Atlantic small shade post-top luminaire has intergral control gear.

Atlantic small shade single solar post top comprises of various control components to provide illumination time of 6Hrs. approximately from the sunset. The solar panel consists of mono crystalline high efficiency cell 1x130Wp. The battery box consists of sealed-lead acid battery stack of 6x24Ah. It also comprises of solar charge controller with AC load 220-230V, 50Hz. There is integrated photosensor for switching on and switching off the luminaire during sunset and sunrise.

Solar system design is based on sun insolation factor of 4. It may vary from one location to another and will affect the system design and cost.
